During 'table time', workshop participants work in dyads under Jan's direction, and Jan's or another practitioner's assistance. As the workshop progress, students go deeper and deeper 'into the Kairos', a state in between sleep and waking. Even the person who is 'giving' goes into that space/state, as is apparent in this picture. Here, student is following a 'protocol', a series of positions, while Jan is working on the patient where she needs more detailed and experienced work.
